I'M GOIN ON VACATION YIPPEE

I'M GOIN ON VACATION, I'M GOIN ON VACATION. I'm heading out the door tomorrow in the am and heading for South Carolina. I'm gettin in my car with my new GPS and zoomin on down the road. The weather is supposed to be warmer and the company will be GREAT. I haven't seen this friend in forever so it should be an awesome visit.

My only problem is WILL I COME BACK? lol of course I will, I have kids and scrappy supplies here, LOL. I'm supposed to be back next Sunday but I think it might snow too much in the mountains for me to pass (kidding) ;)

Not much new going on around here besides my trip. Christmas was nice and peaceful! The kids were thrilled with their gifts, the big ones included Nintendo DS's for all 3 younger ones, an Xbox 360 for the 16 yr old and my 19 yr old bought everyone a Wii, needless to say my kids are busy for hours, LOL

See ya when I get back

Long time no post

I was talking to a friend online today and she "scolded" me for not updating my blog so here I go.

Nothing much new in my life. My Etsy store is up and running. I got an email from FrugalMommy and she wants to feature me on her blog in January for a Valentine give-a-way. She saw my Valentine's Day Banner in my Etsy store and thought it would make a great give-a-way. I was SHOCKED to say the least. I never thought my work was good enough for something like that. So I'll be making that banner today. I went to Hobby Lobby yesterday and loaded up on Valentine papers and ribbons.

Christmas shopping is going slowly, not even close to being done yet. Does anyone have a money tree I can pick from? LOL

I'm trying to plan a trip to South Carolina in January or February to visit an old friend. I haven't seen her in 20 years or so, so that should be a good time. We're gonna head down to Myrtle Beach for a few day while there. I soooo miss seeing, smelling, and hearing the ocean. The rooms at the hotels on the beach are super, super cheap since it's off season. I CAN'T WAIT!!! I may never wanna come back to Kansas. Maybe I'll come back long enough to grab the kids and my scrapbooking stuff, LOL.

Well I guess that's all that's new with me.

Take care and MERRY CHRISTMAS everyone

This took me forever!!

This took me over a month to complete. I think over 1000 pieces of ribbon and pins, but it was worth it, I think anyway.

My latest project

This was a 31lb gord. I decided to paint it for Halloween. I'm really hoping it will just dry out and get hard rather than disolve like pumpkins do.

My new project

Hey Everyone,

Well here is my completed project for this week on A Sassy Affair. I'm planning on making two more, smaller ones, to go on each side of this one.

Enjoy

LOOK WHAT I MADE

I made this for this week's project on a Sassy Affair.

My first time making one of these, and, if I don't say so myself I think it's pretty good. Parker is going to use this for Halloween.

The last picture is what it started out like!

I KNOW, I KNOW

It's been forever since I posted. Well something should happen in life so it'll be an interesting post. Sorry to disappoint you, my life is boring.

For those of you that have been worried about my sleeping habits, (and you know who you are, lol), they have changed severely the past couple of weeks. I no longer stay up all night and sleep all day. When I get up with the kids in the morning, I stay up! This also has it's drawbacks, I go to bed by 9pm, staying up later than that is not possible. I know shocker, close your mouths you're catching flies, LOL. I've been baking, doing the laundry, showering every day (I know, your noses are welcome). I've even become Madison's room parent at her school.

I've even read some books. My aboslute favorite series is the Twilight series. It has 4 books in the series and they are so awesome. I recommend them to everyone that likes to read. My 11 year old has already read the 1st one and loved it! They have a movie coming out in November and I cannot wait to see it. If it starts at midnight, I will be there in line with all the other freaks. LOL

Is everyone ready for Halloween, not me. I still have to buy my kids' costumes, decorate, plan the school party for my 4th grader, and the list goes on.

To Gina and Michielle, I'm thinking of you and if you need anything, I mean anything, call me.

Love ya

HOW SAD

Another Crop A Ganza has come to an end :( Can't wait till Feb when the next one is!

CAG was a complete success, as usual. Everyone seemed to have a good time, although, I must say it did seem a lot calmer. Saturday night wasn't even as rowdy as it usually gets. We all must have been concentrating on getting our pages done, LOL.

There was line dancing and something new a mosh pit. I've included some video for all to watch.

GREETINGS FROM CAG

Well I'm at Crop A Ganza with my friends and having a blast. I'm sitting with Tracy, Roeder, Keri, Kelly (Smelley), her sister, two other women not real sure of their names, (me,the dumb blonde, LOL). We are having a fun, fun, fun time. Anyone who reads this and doesn't attend CAG really should think about if for the Feb. edition.

Well that's it, back to scrapping.

Scrap on!!

Just another post

Today was the scrapbook garage sale and I really wanted to go but this cold of mine knocked me off my ass. I did finally get movin around 3ish, took a shower, got dressed, and headed out the door to Walmart with Tracy.

I needed a new MP3 player for CAG. Of course, Walmart didn't have the one I wanted but I found one at Dillons for $30.00, not to bad. It's by Sylvania and it's a 2GB, so I can download plenty of songs. YEAH RIGHT!! I can't get any songs to download on the damn thing. Oh excuse me, I did get 3 songs downloaded but when I tried to play them, THEY WON'T PLAY!!!!!!!!!! This of course has pissed me off to no end. I'm going to Tracy's later today and if she can't get it to work, I QUIT!!! I also bought a pair of earbuds, the kind that go into your ear, I hate the ones on the outside, well those stupid things don't work either. I think the technology Gods are trying to tell me to give up, just take your boom box to CAG.

To everyone that has inquired: YES I have decided not to sell The Angel Company anymore. My main reason is I decided that I'm not a stamper and that's mostly what they sell. I love their papers but they can only go so far. There are other reasons too, but I'm not going into them. If I've been trusting enough to confide in you those reasons, please keep them to yourselves, there is a reason they are called PERSONAL reasons.

Well I think I should go to bed now. I still need all the beauty sleep I can get, LOL

WTH....

Okay can someone please tell me why my kids feel the need to share? I mean what the hell are they thinking? Who taught them to share, I'd like to get ahold of them and throttle them?

It's only been about 3 weeks since school started and they already gave me a cold! They come home with a little, itsy, bitsy sore throat, they complain for maybe a day or two and then they're fine. My husband catches it next and he complains and sleeps for a day or so. I get it and it's a down right dirty cold. I mean coughing, sneezing, watery eyes, STUFFED NOSE, and completely drained, WTH. Why do I get it so bad and they just breeze through it. Do I have a low immune system, do they just love me more so they feel the need to share more with me? If that's the case I need to start beating them more so they can hate me and not make me sick all the time, LOL. (just kidding, I don't beat my kids)

Well I guess it's better I get sick now instead of next week, I wouldn't want to ruin my fun at CAG. Have you all got your page kits together, are you ready for CAG? I'm not. Haven't even really started yet. I do have some pictures pulled but no papers or bellies pulled for them. I'll probably end up bringing my entire scrap room and Alicia will cringe when she sees the mess, LOL.

I'd like to give a big CONGRATULATIONS to my friend Jennifer. She was approved today for her Gastric Bypass Surgery, finally. WAY TO GO JENNIFER. I still don't think you need the surgery but if it makes you feel better, I'm behind you 100%. Start eating now and eat, eat, eat, since you won't be able to after the surgery. ;)

Well that's enough babbling from me for now.

IIII''''''MMMMMMMMM BBBBBAAAACCCCCCKKKKKK

Hey everyone, did ya miss me?

Well I have a new computer and new internet so I'm ready to go. WOO HOO

Nothing new going on around here sorry to say. The kids, of course, have started school and mommy is a very happy camper about that. I love my kids but man summer vacations should only be about 2 weeks. I'm a firm believer in year round school with 2 weeks off here and there throughout the year. I really think the kids loose too much info when they have so much time off and I think they get bored over such a long summer break.

Let's see what else.........been hanging out occasionally with friends, can't do that too often cause it causes major side pulls from all the laughing.

I'm still doing my clocks and altering projects when I feel like running downstairs to the dungeon, LOL.

Trying to get ready for Crop A Ganza, not very successful. I really want to take page kits but ssssoooooo not motivated to make them. I have decided not to vend at this CAG but I was able to get another person to vend for The Angel Company, she's much more trained than me and should have much more stuff than I ever could.

Well that's it for now

I had a creative moment

I had a creative moment tonight. I went to my scrap room to start making thing for CAG, I started at 7, took a 1 hr break to watch the season finally of Hell's Kitchen and I finally finished at 2:20 am. I only made 2 things, both are clocks. The smaller one is for my daughters room, I need to get some pink fur to run around the edges and then it's done. The other is to sell at CAG

Let me know what you think of them.

What a GREAT Weekend!!

I had a great time Saturday night with Jennifer, Keri, and Tracy. We hung out at Jennifer's house, went out and ate YUMMY chinese food. We then went back to Jennifer's and we all put on tatoos, FUN FUN. We didn't leave till 2am, sorry Jennifer :(. It's so nice to hang out and just be yourself with real friends, no judging, no worring about anything but having fun.

Nothing new around here. Planning things for the next Crop A Ganza, if I get to vend. I have plans for the goody bags, no tags this time, something cute for everyone at there spot. I will also have more paper packs available to purchase. I'm also going to try and have kits made up for sale as well as altered items already completed for purchase. I had a few requests for these items at the last CAG so I thought I'd give it a try. Also, something new, if you would like to place an order and use your cc I can now go ahead and place the order right there at CAG, no need to write down your cc info, it's safer this way, no chance of anyone getting ahold of that info.

Well that's it for now. Stay healthy and happy.

Survived the 4th

Did you? Sat in my driveway and watched my kids shoot off their fireworks, no big deal. If Mike hadn't been so cranky yesterday we would have gone to Jennifer's to watch her husband's firework show, maybe next year!

Today is going to be a me day, no kids and NO HUSBAND!!! (he's been really cranky lately). Tracy and I are gonna go hang out with Jennifer and Keri and have a GREAT TIME.

More later.

BEST BIRTHDAY EVA

I HAD THE BEST BIRTHDAY EVER!!

I started my day with my ear drum being ruptured ;). Two friends, who shall be nameless but here's a hint: Busy Bee and Elvis, and who can't carry a tune called and sang (I use the word loosely LOL) me Happy Birthday. Then Tracy called and thank God she just said Happy Birthday, after all, I only had one ear drum left and frankly I need that one!

I went and got my nails done then headed off to a Home Interiors Party. The party isn't closing till Friday so if anyone wants to look at a catalog and place an order, give me a ring. I spent way too much money and decided to become a distributor. You get a great discount on their stuff and I do have an entire house to decorate, lol. After the party Tracy and I stayed and chatted with Keri and Jennifer till 6. We parted company while Tracy and I went to Walmart then we hooked up with Jennifer and Keri for dinner of chinese food.

IT WAS GREAT EATING OUT WITH ANOTHER ADULT WHO LIKES CRAB LEGS! Keri and Jennifer are almost as crazy about them as I am. Tracy just thinks we're all nuts, she hates them. It was nice eating hot chinese food for a change, usually when I eat out with the family I'm busy peeling shrimp or cracking crab legs for my kids so by the time I get to eat what's on my plate it's cold. After dinner us girls headed back to Tracy's house to make my goodies for CAG! I'm happy to say THE GIRLS WERE A GREAT BIG HELP!! I am done with my goody bag giveaways and I wouldn't be if they hadn't have helped me as much as they did. I didn't get home till 2am. Everyoe was asleep, IT WAS GREAT!

I woke up today and my husband and kids surprised me with a cake they baked for me Saturday while I was gone. It was really cute, they tried to make it look like a cow since I love cows ssssssoooooo much.

I know the cow looks like he's been on meth way too long but I think it's the most beautiful cow cake I've ever seen. :)
Well that's it for me for now.

Sorry about the spacing, I'm computer challenged!

A Sad Day

Amanda's memorial service was this morning, it was very, very hard. She had a memorial service because she was cremated, it's what she wanted.

I'm very proud of Kate, she is handling this as best as can be expected. She isn't hold up in her room crying all the time, she is trying to go on with her life. Her boyfriend, Wes, is just wonderful with her. He lets her cry and talk when she needs to then he tries his best to take her mind off everything. Amanda was like a sister to him so this has been very hard on him as well. HE IS A KEEPER.

It's been very hard saying goodbye to someone I thought of as a daughter. As long as I don't think about her, which is very hard, I seem to be doing okay. I have been trying to get back into the swing of things which I'm hoping will help.

Thank you to everyone for your thoughts and prayers, it means more to me than you know.
