IT'S ME AGAIN

Well I purged!! Yes you heard right, I purged. I went through all my scrapbooking stuff and am getting rid of a ton of stuff. My Clip It Up was so packed full of stuff I couldn't see what I had. I am getting rid of at least 3/4 of the things I had on it. I was actually able to hang the stuff that's been sitting on my desk with no place to go; I now even have tons of clips left over and all my stuff is hung, WOO HOO. I can see what I have now. I'm going to hang onto some of it, I have a secret sister that I send bi-monthly packages to (scrapbook related). The stuff is brand new, never used. I feel like JR, when I see it I have to have it but then never use it. I was finding stuff tonight that I knew I had but couldn't ever find it, now I don't want it, LOL. Just picking on you Jennifer, you know I love ya.

We are finally going to finish up Madison's room tomorrow. We still haven't hung her wallpaper, it will be on Saturday! With all the sickness this winter I just didn't feel like doing it.

I saw some pre-made 12 X 12 layout pages tonight on eBay for sale. This one layout sold for $122.50, I personally didn't think it was worth the money and then the next thought to come to mind was I CAN TOTALLY DO THAT!! My husband was sitting across the table from me and was looking at the layouts and told me to get busy making them and post them. I don't think I'm good enough but I might just try one or two layouts to see how they go. I'm just thinking about it.

Well I'm done rambling for now, although, this is my blog and I can ramble if I want to, ramble if I want to, you would ramble too if it happend to you, LOL. Man I need to get some sleep.

I don't have much to say but thought I would give you something different to look at when you came to my page.

Let's see, I did go to a cropping birthday party Saturday, HAD A BLAST!! I need to do that at least once a month, any takers?!!! Went to Kobe's Steakhouse for dinner. It was ok, expensive, IMO, but the atmosphere and company were fun.

I'm trying to get better with this digi scrapbooking, gotta tell ya, not lovin it that much anymore. I'm just frustrated. Got a new book that walks you through step by step and I can't even get past the first step!!!! CAN WE SAY FRUSTRATING!!!! Kathy J said she'd help me at Crop Camp with it, I feel like a dork ;)

I HAZ A DOODLE!

I just love that saying, it cracks me up!!! :) I know I'm weird, deal with it.

Okay just thought it was time I updated my blog. Not much going on in my world, thank goodness. We are all healthy and happy for a change.

I went and got my hair a long, overdue cut and color. I think it looks much better but when you see me, let me know whatcha think.

I am signing up to go to a weekend crop with my fellow Cupcakes at Maple Memories. It's in May and I can't wait, I've been dying to check the place out. I'm also going to be a vendor at Crop A Ganza in June, very excited about that. I will be selling The Angel Co. products. They are a Kansas based scrapbook supply company. I hope to have a lot of there product on hand to sell at Ganza, but if I don't have something someone wants it only takes a couple days for the items to come in the mail since they are located in Salina.

I signed up for several different swaps on the Cricut message boards so I've also been busy trying to come up with ideas for that.

I can't think of any other boring details to put you to sleep with right now, so I'll sign off for now.

CAN THE NICE WEATHER FINALLY GET HERE........

GOTTA SAY I'M SICK OF BEING SICK!! I'm finally getting over this damn cold, except the constant blowing of the nose and coughing everytime I lay down. Today I get hit with a stomach bug! WHEN DOES IT END.

On another note, I QUIT MY JOB. I did this on Monday. I think part of the reason I'm so sick this winter is because I have to get out in all this crappy weather, drive a cold school bus, and have the kids on the bus sit behind me coughing and sneezing all over me. It's disgusting!!! So Mike (my husband) and I sat down and decided I don't have to work, his salary should be enough. I will eventually get another part time job but I want to wait and get a job I know I'll LOVE, like in a scrapbook store :)


I also quit going to school when I started working because of the crazy hours I just couldn't concentrate on the school work. I'm going back this summer. I want to finish the summer semester at Butler then transfer over to WATC to get my LPN, then I hope to back door it into Butler's Nursing Program to get my RN. My dream is to work labor and delivery and I'm not giving up on that.

Well that's all from me for now, I just wanted to update everyone that doesn't belong to the cupcakes, about my life...as boring as it is, LOL

Long time no post. Hi Gina thanks for updating your blog.

Nothing new in my life. I went to Crop A Ganza and had a blast!! A bunch of us came home sick, not my fault, i'm finally feeling better. I can't wait till June, hopefully I can get into that one too!

Tonight I'm sitting at home scrapbooking with a friend. I'm not anticipating getting much done, just can't seem to find my mojo!!

I'M IN LOVE....

WITH DIGITAL SCRAPBOOKING :) I took the class at Scrap Funattic and found a great website to download a whole bunch of freebies from and I am hooked. I literally spent the day sitting in my recliner dowloading papers, eyelets, ribbon, fibers, tags, journal boxes, letters, numbers...and anything else you can think of. My next step, after I give my butt a rest, is to actually use the stuff in my first layout from scratch. The website is:

Nothings been going on around this house. Kids are the same, I'm the same, Mike's the same, boring life, sorry.

I joined WW and an on-line WIKI WIKI WIKI to help me loose weight. It's been two weeks and so far so good. I have cheated a few times but I'm still loosing. Down about 5 lbs a little bit at a time. If I would get off my butt and actually start exercising I might actually loose more but I think my body would go into shock, LOL.

Crop A Ganza is a couple weeks away and I'm ssssssooooooooooo excited. I'm not at all ready but I never am till about an hour before I walk out the door anyway. I figure if I don't get page kits put together I'll just work on digital layouts all weekend! No packing involved in that just grab the laptop and off I go! :) What could be easier.

Well that's it for now, gotta get some sleep, I had a really hard day, LOL

HAPPY NEW YEAR, HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO ME

Christmas and New Years is finally over.

Christmas:

I got all my shopping done Christmas Eve Eve. Everything was wrapped and ready to go by 5pm Christmas Eve. That's the earliest I have ever finished my wrapping. Wrapping for 5 kids and a husband I usually have tons and tons of gifts to wrap. This year I didn't go as crazy with the gift buying so I didn't have as many to wrap, THANK GOD!!!! Christmas day the kids ripped through everything in less than 30 minutes, all that work and BAM it's ruined. Mike's mom came over at 10:15, she wasn't supposed to be here till 11. I hid in my room to take a nap, Mike told her I had a migraine, LOL. She got the kids those mats you hook up to the tv and play games with your feet, they love them. Mike and I must smell because she got us soaps from Avon. We must have pissed her off this year cause she usually gives us $100, not this year. Oh well, she'll get over it and if not, that's her problem, not mine!!!

New Years:

Tracy and her family came over and I made dinner (Baked Ziti). She's been asking me for months to make it so I finally did. I think that's going to be our New Years tradition. After dinner we played games till 5am. YUP 5 AM. We stay up all night every year on New Year's Eve. My house did absolutely nothing yesterday.

Today: My 10 year Anniversary--


Who would have thunk I'd make it this long. Those of you that really know me, know my first marriage was really over after 2 years but I hung on for 7. Don't ever do that. If it sucks and you can't stand looking at your partner GET OUT!!

Anyway back to a happy topic. We celebrate today by doing absolutely nothing, LOL. We're broke so we stay in and work on our honey do lists. Mine of course is empty but his is a mile long, LOL.. ;)

We are getting ready to move my 18 yr old out of her room and downstairs and our 9 year old is getting her room upstairs. We are going to paint, wallpaper, border, new curtains, eventually new carpet, and general new decorations. We have everything picked out, paint already bought, so we are going to do it in stages. Her paint colors, of course, are pink and a really lite purple for the trim and closet doors.

So far so good on the health WIKI. Eating isn't the problem for me, it's the getting up and exercising. That's going to be my biggest struggle. I'll do it though. 19 yrs of being fat is enough!!!

Gotta run, kids are killing each other.
