CAN THE NICE WEATHER FINALLY GET HERE........

GOTTA SAY I'M SICK OF BEING SICK!! I'm finally getting over this damn cold, except the constant blowing of the nose and coughing everytime I lay down. Today I get hit with a stomach bug! WHEN DOES IT END.

On another note, I QUIT MY JOB. I did this on Monday. I think part of the reason I'm so sick this winter is because I have to get out in all this crappy weather, drive a cold school bus, and have the kids on the bus sit behind me coughing and sneezing all over me. It's disgusting!!! So Mike (my husband) and I sat down and decided I don't have to work, his salary should be enough. I will eventually get another part time job but I want to wait and get a job I know I'll LOVE, like in a scrapbook store :)


I also quit going to school when I started working because of the crazy hours I just couldn't concentrate on the school work. I'm going back this summer. I want to finish the summer semester at Butler then transfer over to WATC to get my LPN, then I hope to back door it into Butler's Nursing Program to get my RN. My dream is to work labor and delivery and I'm not giving up on that.

Well that's all from me for now, I just wanted to update everyone that doesn't belong to the cupcakes, about my life...as boring as it is, LOL

Long time no post. Hi Gina thanks for updating your blog.

Nothing new in my life. I went to Crop A Ganza and had a blast!! A bunch of us came home sick, not my fault, i'm finally feeling better. I can't wait till June, hopefully I can get into that one too!

Tonight I'm sitting at home scrapbooking with a friend. I'm not anticipating getting much done, just can't seem to find my mojo!!

I'M IN LOVE....

WITH DIGITAL SCRAPBOOKING :) I took the class at Scrap Funattic and found a great website to download a whole bunch of freebies from and I am hooked. I literally spent the day sitting in my recliner dowloading papers, eyelets, ribbon, fibers, tags, journal boxes, letters, numbers...and anything else you can think of. My next step, after I give my butt a rest, is to actually use the stuff in my first layout from scratch. The website is:

Nothings been going on around this house. Kids are the same, I'm the same, Mike's the same, boring life, sorry.

I joined WW and an on-line WIKI WIKI WIKI to help me loose weight. It's been two weeks and so far so good. I have cheated a few times but I'm still loosing. Down about 5 lbs a little bit at a time. If I would get off my butt and actually start exercising I might actually loose more but I think my body would go into shock, LOL.

Crop A Ganza is a couple weeks away and I'm ssssssooooooooooo excited. I'm not at all ready but I never am till about an hour before I walk out the door anyway. I figure if I don't get page kits put together I'll just work on digital layouts all weekend! No packing involved in that just grab the laptop and off I go! :) What could be easier.

Well that's it for now, gotta get some sleep, I had a really hard day, LOL

HAPPY NEW YEAR, HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO ME

Christmas and New Years is finally over.

Christmas:

I got all my shopping done Christmas Eve Eve. Everything was wrapped and ready to go by 5pm Christmas Eve. That's the earliest I have ever finished my wrapping. Wrapping for 5 kids and a husband I usually have tons and tons of gifts to wrap. This year I didn't go as crazy with the gift buying so I didn't have as many to wrap, THANK GOD!!!! Christmas day the kids ripped through everything in less than 30 minutes, all that work and BAM it's ruined. Mike's mom came over at 10:15, she wasn't supposed to be here till 11. I hid in my room to take a nap, Mike told her I had a migraine, LOL. She got the kids those mats you hook up to the tv and play games with your feet, they love them. Mike and I must smell because she got us soaps from Avon. We must have pissed her off this year cause she usually gives us $100, not this year. Oh well, she'll get over it and if not, that's her problem, not mine!!!

New Years:

Tracy and her family came over and I made dinner (Baked Ziti). She's been asking me for months to make it so I finally did. I think that's going to be our New Years tradition. After dinner we played games till 5am. YUP 5 AM. We stay up all night every year on New Year's Eve. My house did absolutely nothing yesterday.

Today: My 10 year Anniversary--


Who would have thunk I'd make it this long. Those of you that really know me, know my first marriage was really over after 2 years but I hung on for 7. Don't ever do that. If it sucks and you can't stand looking at your partner GET OUT!!

Anyway back to a happy topic. We celebrate today by doing absolutely nothing, LOL. We're broke so we stay in and work on our honey do lists. Mine of course is empty but his is a mile long, LOL.. ;)

We are getting ready to move my 18 yr old out of her room and downstairs and our 9 year old is getting her room upstairs. We are going to paint, wallpaper, border, new curtains, eventually new carpet, and general new decorations. We have everything picked out, paint already bought, so we are going to do it in stages. Her paint colors, of course, are pink and a really lite purple for the trim and closet doors.

So far so good on the health WIKI. Eating isn't the problem for me, it's the getting up and exercising. That's going to be my biggest struggle. I'll do it though. 19 yrs of being fat is enough!!!

Gotta run, kids are killing each other.

LET IT SNOW LET IT SNOW LET IT SNOW

I have not seen snow like this since I left New York 19 years ago!!! I really love it! I would love it even more if I didn't have to be out in it twice today. I was planning on doing my xmas shopping until I realized how bad the roads were. I had to go rescue my daughter because her car broke down, and by broke down I mean ran out of gas, GGGEEEEZZZ, and she wants to be treated like an adult, what adult do you know runs outta gas at least once a month, ok that's another blog matter. Anyway she broke down on MacArthur just east of Maize. We live at Maize and Kellogg so I thought no problem I'll just run down and get her. hahahahahahaahah it took me over an hour to get her and get back home. I couldn't see anything and my windshield and wiper blades kept freezing up even with the defroster running full blast. I get home and get stuck in the damn drive way. I finally get it unstuck and safe and sound in the garage, sit on my big butt and the phone rings. Tracy's mom is stuck on K42 and Tyler, Mom is freaking out so I go to get her. Still can't see a damn thing but this time I figured out how to put the car in 4 wheel drive, BIG DIFFERENCE!!! Well I'm driving 5 mph can't find her. Then this car had just stopped in the middle of k42 to clear windows, guess who? That's right mom. She's on the phone with Tracy and so am I. Mom is freaking out so we decide to pull into Cessna Employees Credit Union and she gets stuck in the driveway, ggggrrrrr. Heath, Tracy's hubby, pulls up behind me, tries to get her out, no luck. We leave her car there till the snow stops and we can get a tow truck to pull her out. I'm already out so I decide to try and get to the bank, I make it with 5 minutes to spare of them closing, AND THE FR*^*&&& CLOSED EARLY!!!!!!!!!!! Ok not a problem I'm out, we need food, Dillons is right up the road. Got a little grocery shopping done and head home. Now I'm sitting here in my pj's getting ready to go downstairs and scrap the night away. I will have to go xmas shopping tomorrow. I WILL NEVER LET IT GO THIS LATE AGAIN!! How dumb am I???!! (that is a retorical question, EVERYONE)

So everyone stay in, stay warm and scrap the night away. Make sure to take pictures of this snow, it may be another 19 years or more before we see it like this again.

BBBBAAAAAHHHHHHH HUMBUG

I JUST CAN'T GET INTO THE CHRISTMAS MOOD!!! I don't know if it's because I've been sick for over a month, really bad the last 3 or so days or because I haven't done any shopping yet. Yes you heard me right I have not started shopping for my Christmas gifts yet!!

Tracy and I are going Saturday and getting it all done in one day :) I hate shopping and since money is so tight this year it really sucks!! I wish I had an endless credit limit on a cc so I could just get anything and everything they want and then be done with it. I hate the pressure, what if the kids don't like what I get for them, what if it's not enough? I wish there really was a Santa, he could save me a bunch of stress!!!!!!

Okay enough of a downer blog for everyone tonight. I am feeling better. I will get my shopping done tomorrow. I will have everything wrapped by Christmas eve, ha hahahahahahahha.

Blah Blah Blah

Hi Everyone, long time no post.

I don't really have much to say. I don't want my loyal blogger fans to think I forgot about them though, LOL.

I've been ok, trying to get another damn cold though. I'm so sick of being sick. It seems like its been over a month I've either been really sick or fighting something off. Parker is right there with me. I finally broke down and had my hubby bring him to the doctor yesterday. Poor kid has had a cold for over a month but his cough got really bad so I called the dr. I know I'm a terrible mother for letting him wait so long, but really it was just a cold in the beginning, it only got bad the past couple of days. Turns out he has bronchitis, doc put him on an anitbiotic. Kate also has been feeling like poopoo so since Parker was off to the doctor she went too! Turns out she has mono. YES YOU HEARD RIGHT!! Mono, I told her kissing all those boys would catch up to her eventually. Needless to say all she's been doing the past few days is sleeping IN MY BED, no wonder I can't kick whatever I have, all these sick kids sleeping in my bed on my pillow, COODEES (sp?) Anyway doc didn't put her on any meds, told her the virus just needs to run it's cycle. She can still go to school and work as long as she feels up to it. She doesn't really miss school but she is fighting me with work. I told her if I found out someone made my food and had mono I'd be pissed!

I have no huge plans this weekend. Tomorrow will be busy for me. I work in the morning, dentist at 10am, field trip at 12:00- 2:15, afternoon routes, off work at 5pm then a little Christmas get together with some friends. I need a gift for that but have no idea what to get, any ideas? It needs to be $15.00 or under HELP!!! Saturday I have a class then we are loading up in the car and driving around to look at Christmas lights. This is something we do every year and the kids have been bugging us about it since the day after Thanksgiving. Sunday I hope to stay in my jammies all day and curl up on the couch and watch movies. My life never turns out like I plan so who knows what's really going to happen.

I took some pictures of our Christmas tree and have gotten a request to post them, so here I go. I've also included my candle collection and various decorations.
